We aren’t always born with our ancestors’ words. Sometimes, they slip away from us.

We hear them from afar, without really understanding. We recognize them, but don’t always dare to speak them.

I grew up with this emptiness: not knowing my heritage languages.
Not out of rejection. But out of habit, context, or simply forgetting.

And for a long time, I thought it wasn’t such a big deal… Until the silence became too heavy.

So I decided to take action. For myself. For today’s children. And for the generations to come.

Les Petits Bantus was born from this desire: to give African languages the place they deserve in our families’ daily lives. With simple, fun, accessible tools. Designed so that learning becomes play, and passing on the language is an act of love.

Helping children of the diaspora reclaim their heritage language, connect with their cultural roots in a joyful and nurturing environment, and strengthen their sense of belonging to a vibrant, proud community.
